Château de La Brède

5 minutes by car from the Domaine de Larchey, the Château de La Brède and its beautiful park are well worth a visit. This is where Montesquieu was born and where he always returned, enlarging the carefully managed estate and embellishing the park. The castle and its domain, classified as Historic Monuments, have kept the spirit of Montesquieu and the memory of a history of eight centuries.
